Scott McRae is one of Australia’s most endearing, multi talented personalities

and a familiar face to many. With an extensive background in the television and entertainment industry, starring in high profile TV programs such as E-Street, Sea Patrol, Water Rats, All Saints and the hit children’s programs,VIDIOT (ABC), Now You See It and Download for Channel Nine.

 

Scott has passion and enthusiasm second to none, and from 2000-2010 viewers across the WIN/Nine/NBN/Imparja Networks found his infectious energy catching as he has taken them from one cornerof the content to another as host and producer of

“Destinations with Scott McRae”and “Postcards Australia”

 

In addition to the above, Scott has an extensive background in Theatre, including starring as

Rum Tum Tugger in the award winning musical “CATS”, he has worked on radio as an announcer

and character voice artist. Scott has been the host for thousands of events, and has been a voice over artist for many TV and radio commercials.

 

Scott has recently received great reviews for his role in the feature film “Punishment”. Scott is currently filming and producing season 5 of the successful travel program, “A Taste of Travel” on the TEN/WIN Network which will be seen across the nation on Sunday afternoons at 4pm. Scott is also busy with his stage show “STEVIE-The Life & Music of Stevie Wright & The Easybeats, which he Co wrote and Produced and is in its fifth year of touring to standing ovations,

and his latest passion piece the sitcom “BUGGERALL”.

 

Scott studied at the Sydney Acting School for three years, graduating

from his Diploma course in April 1991.
